Challenges

Thirty High is a 300,000 sq ft London building delivered by McLaren. With construction already under way, the team faced a growing number of detailed technical challenges on site. Firestopping and drylining interfaces needed resolving quickly, and the trades needed solid, compliant details they could build from with confidence, without slowing the programme or compromising fire safety.

Solution

Able was brought in as an Executive Architect to troubleshoot the building. We reviewed the problem areas on site and produced concise, buildable and reliable firestopping and drylining details. Each one was coordinated with the trades and tested against real site conditions, giving the team clear information to build once, keep work moving and carry the project through to completion.
