Always a really valuable couple of days to reconnect with people across the sector, meet new faces, share ideas and hear different perspectives on the challenges universities are navigating at the moment.
'Less is More' made for a thought-provoking theme and a varied programme, with plenty of discussion around the challenges and opportunities facing higher education.
One of the things I value most about UDF is the opportunity to step away from day-to-day project work, listen to different perspectives, learn from colleagues across the sector and make new connections.
It was also great to visit both Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University, and to see such a wide range of projects presented by the teams behind them.
And a reminder of what a fantastic city Belfast is. Friendly, welcoming and uniquely connected to both the mountains and the sea.
